Rangers Apprentice

The first Rangers Apprentice is about 5 orphans. Jenny, Will, Horace, Alice, and George. When they are old enough, they choose a school were they have mentors. Horace got into battle school, Jenny became a chef, Alice became a courier, George gets into scribe school, and Will becomes a Ranger. He becomes an Apprentice to Halt, a legendary ranger. Rangers protect their fief, or the place they live. Will and Halt work together, along with forty-eight other rangers, and Horace , to save their fief from the evil Morgorath.
The first book is not that exiting because it mostly explains what is going on. it is a good book though. i would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery. This series was so good, i could not stop reading it. On a scale from 1 to 5 ***** stars, i would give this book a 4.
Hi there! I was wondering if you could clarify what a ranger was, and what their role is throughout the book? Also, who is Morgorath and why is he so "evil"? Are all of the orphans rangers, or is it just Will? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSure! A ranger is like a skilled archer, only he can also handle knifes pretty well. They kind of protect their king. Morgorath is just a character and he is evil because he is trying to kill the king and the rangers. And only Will is a ranger.

ReplyDeleteThanks! This is number 1. This series has i think 12 books in it, so. Sometimes i like it when books don't end, but sometimes it can get a little boring. Im glad your interested.
ReplyDeleteI am not that big of a fan of mystery, but this book does seem interesting. Was there anything that made you fall in love with this book that made you keep reading the others in the series?
ReplyDeleteIm not sure. I like mystery, so. I would read it anyways. I think what made me like this book so much was that everything was mysterious, the characters, everything. I also just liked the characters and wanted to find out what would happen next, so i kept reading. Im not sure how to explain it.
