Schooled
By. Gordon Korman
Schooled is about many characters and their point of view, but the main character is Capricorn (or cap) Anderson. Cap Anderson lived in a community most his life. In this community, it was only Cap and his teacher Rain. He doesn't know what pizza, tv, or wedgies are. But when Rain falls out of a tree, Cap has to stay with Mrs. Donnelly, a guidance counselor and her daughter, who doesn't like him. Cap is forced to go to a local middle school. At Claverage Middle School, Cap is the brunt of all the jokes. Literally everyone at the school teases him, and he has no idea. When Cap is nominated to be school president, he is put in charge of the Halloween dance. But, Cap doesn't know anything about dances.
I'm not going to tell you how it ends, you have to read it yourself. This book is really funny, but also kind of sad because he is getting teased, but he doesn't know he is. He thinks that it is normal. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes comedy stuff. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give this book 5 💰💰💰💰.
Good review! I may have to add this one to my reading list. Why is it that it's him and his teacher only? Is the reason because he has some sort of disorder that needs him separated from others? Anyways, again, good review, and keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Im not sure if it was just him and his teacher, but it never mentioned anyone else so. And i dont think he has a disorder, he just lives there. I dont know, it wasn't very clear about that.
